Under the overall management of Bangladesh Handball Federation and sponsored by Exim Bank Ltd., the opening ceremony of ‘Exim Bank 33rd National Men’s Handball Competition-2022’ held in Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 03:00 pm, Held at Shahid (Captain) M. Mansoor Ali National Handball Stadium.
Mr. Mohammad Feroz Hossain, Managing Director and CEO of Exim Bank Ltd. attended the event as the chief guest and announced the opening of the competition.
Sanjeev Chatterjee, Senior Assistant Vice President and Head Corporate Affairs and Branding Division of Exim Bank Ltd. was present as a special guest.
Honorable President of Bangladesh Handball Federation Mr. AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul presided over the event.
Honorable General Secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation Mr. Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, Vice-President of the Federation and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Competition Mr. ANM Wahid Dulal, Assistant General Secretary of the Federation and Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the Competition Mr. SM Khalekuzzaman Swapan, Executive Committee of the Federation were present on the occasion. Member and assistant secretary of the organizing committee of the competition Mr. Md. Salim Mia Babu and other officials of the federation.
Results of today’s games held:
1) In the game held at 08:00 AM, Dhaka District Sports Association defeated Habiganj District Sports Association by 37-00. The winning team led 15-00 in the first half.
2) Chittagong District Sports Association defeated Khulna District Sports Association by 27-08 in the game held at 09:00 am. The winning team led 15-04 in the first half.
3) Lalmonirhat District Sports Association defeated Patuakhali District Sports Association by 15-09 in the game held at 11:00 am. The winning team was leading 08-07 in the first half.
4) In the game held at 12:00 noon, Narail District Sports Association defeated Joypurhat District Sports Association by 37-20. The winning team led 19-09 in the first half.
5) Jamalpur District Sports Association defeated Comilla District Sports Association by 32-27 in the game held at 01:00 PM. The winning team was leading 13-14 goals in the first half.
6) Kushtia District Sports Association defeated Thakurgaon District Sports Association by 38-18 in the game held at 02:00 PM. The winning team led 13-07 in the first half.
7) In the game held at 04:00 PM, Dinajpur Zilla Sports Club defeated Habiganj Zilla Sports Club by 25-06. The winning team led 13-04 in the first half.
8) Chittagong District Sports Association defeated Patuakhali District Sports Association by 32-17 in the game held at 05:00 PM. The winning team led 15-09 in the first half.
9) Lalmonirhat District Sports Association defeated Khulna District Sports Association by 22-06 in the game held at 06:00 PM. The winning team led 12-05 in the first half.
Closing Press
Under the overall management of Bangladesh Handball Federation and under the sponsorship of Exim Bank Ltd., the closing and prize giving ceremony of the ‘Exim Bank 33rd National Men’s Handball Competition-2022’ was held in January 10, 2023, Tuesday at 03:00 pm, Held at Shahid (Captain) M. Mansoor Ali National Handball Stadium.
Mr. Zahid Ahsan Russell, MP honourable Minister of State, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, attended the event as the chief guest and distributed the prizes among the players of the champion and runner-up teams of the competition.
Honorable President of Bangladesh Handball Federation Mr. AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul presided over the event.

Results of today’s finals played:
In the final game held at 03:00 PM, Border Guard Bangladesh defeated Bangladesh Ansar and VDP 37-32 to become the champions of the competition. The winning team was ahead 16-10 in the first half.
Best Player
Md. Tariqur Rahman, the 16th jersey holder of Border Guard Bangladesh was selected as the best player of the competition.
