The closing and awarding ceremony of “Exim Bank 33rd National Women’s Handball Competition-2021” under the management of Bangladesh Handball Federation and under the patronage of Exim Bank Ltd. will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Shaheed (Captain) M. It was held at Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
Mr. Md. Akhter Hossain, Honorable Senior Secretary, Department of Public Security, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh was present as the Chief Guest and distributed prizes among the players and officials of the champion and runner-up teams.
Honorable President of Bangladesh Handball Federation AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul presided over the function.
Honorable General Secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, Co-President of the Federation and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the competition Md. Nurul Islam, Assistant General Secretary of the Federation and Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the competition Md. Salauddin Ahmed and other officials of the Federation were present on the occasion.

In the final match held at 03:30 pm, Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force defeated Panchagarh District Sports Association by 41-24 goals and became the champion. The winning team was leading 25-14 in the first half. Sanjida Akhter scored maximum 12 goals for Panchagarh District Sports Association.
The best players: Alpana Akhter, who wore the 10th jersey of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force, was selected as the best player.
Result of the 3rd / 4th place match of the competition: In the 3rd / 4th place match held at 02:00 pm, Bangladesh Police Handball Club defeated Jamalpur District Sports Association by 32-25 goals and secured the 3rd place. The winning team was leading 13-12 in the first half. Rubina scored a maximum of 13 goals for the winning team.
