Dhaka Metropolitan League or Cute 1st Handball League

Dhaka Metropolitan League was started from December 1986 and this league competition was held for about two and a half months. A total of 18 teams participated in the 1986 Dhaka Metropolitan Handball League. Note that before starting this league, according to the decision of the league committee, the two teams with the lowest points list in the league list will be relegated to the second division league. The 1986 Dhaka Metropolitan Handball League was held courtesy of “CUET” and was inaugurated by Major General K,M, Abdul Waheed, P,S,C. former chairman of the National Sports Regulatory Board.
