The Sheikh Russell Day-2023 “Exhibition Handball Match”was held on the occasion of the birthday celebration of Sheikh Russell, the youngest son of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Under the management of Handball Federation and in collaboration with Team Handball Dhaka on 18 October 2023, was held at Shaheed (Captain) M. Mansoor Ali National Handball Stadium.

Team Handball Dhaka beat Kamdtala Basabo team by 22-20.
