The closing and prize giving ceremony of ‘Cute Premier Handball League-2022’ organized under the overall management of Bangladesh Handball Federation and under the patronage of Mousumi Industries Limited (cute) held on 07 November 2022 at 03.00 pm on Monday, Shaheed (Captain) M. Mansoor Ali National Handball Stadium.
Mr. Mejbah Uddin, Honorable Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, attended the event as the chief guest and distributed the prizes among the players and officials of the champion and runner-up teams of the league.
Additional Secretary of Bangladesh Public Administration Training Center Abu Mumtaz Saduddin Ahmed was present as a special guest.
The event was presided over by Mr. AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul, Honorable President of Bangladesh Handball Federation.
Honorable General Secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation Mr. Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, League Committee Chairman Sheikh Bahauddin Ritu, Federation Treasurer and League Committee Secretary Md. Jahangir Hossain and other members of the Federation were present in the event.
Results of today’s place 1st/2nd qualifying games held:
1) In the game played at 03:00 PM, Narinda Progoti Boys Club defeated Prime Sporting Club by 44-38 and won the title of Champions (1st place finish) in the league while Prime Sporting Club became runner up (2nd place finish). The winning team led 25-19 in the first half.
Best player:
Narinda Progoti Boys Club’s jersey number 88, Robiul Islam was best player.
Results of Today’s Place 3rd/4th Qualifying Matches held:
2) In the game held at 01:30 PM, Bangla Club beat Jurain Janata Club by 38-23 and won the 3rd place in the league, while Jurain Janata Club won the 4th place. The winning team led 18-16 in the first half.
