The closing ceremony of “Exim Bank 35th National Women Handball Competition-2023” organized under the management of Bangladesh Handball Federation and under the sponsorship of Exim Bank, 07 June 2024, Friday at 04:00 pm, Held at Shahid (Captain) M. Mansoor Ali National Handball Stadium.
Honorable Managing Director and CEO of Exim Bank Mohammad Feroz Hossain was present as the chief guest and distributed the prizes among the players of the champion and runner-up teams of the competition.
The event was presided over by the Honorable President of Bangladesh Handball Federation AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul. Honorable general secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, vice president of the federation and chairman of the organizing committee of the competition Md. Nurul Islam, assistant general secretary of the federation and secretary of the organizing committee of the competition Md. Salauddin Ahammed and other officials of the federation were present.
Final Match Results:
01) Bangladesh Ansar and VDP defeated Bangladesh Police Handball Club 33-24 to become the champions of the competition.
Best player:
Bangladesh Ansar and VDP, jersey No. 10 holder Alpana Akhtar was selected as the best player.
Results of 3rd/4th Place:
Jamalpur District Sports Association defeated Jessore District Sports Association by 21-14 to secure 3rd position.
