The closing and award ceremony of “Walton Victory Day Handball Competition (Men & Women) -2021” organized by Bangladesh Handball Federation and sponsored by Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited on the occasion of 50th anniversary of Great Victory Day will be held on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at 11:00 AM. : Martyr at 30 o’clock (Captain) M. It was held at Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.

Mr. FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, Senior Executive Director, Walton Hi-Tech Industries Ltd. sponsored the event and distributed prizes among the players and officials of the competition champion and runners-up team.

Mr. Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, General Secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation, Lt. Col. (Retd.) Sirajul Islam Bir Pratik (Bar), Director of Exim Bank Ltd., Chairman of the Board of Directors and Mr. Md. Jahangir Hossain, Treasurer and Secretary of the Board of Directors Officers.

The event was presided over by Md. Nurul Islam, Vice President of Bangladesh Handball Federation.

 

Results of today’s final game:

Women’s section

In the final match of women’s section held at 10:00 am, Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force defeated Jamalpur Sports Academy by 35-16 goals and became the champions of the competition. The winning team was ahead with 2105 goals in the first half. Asiya, the No. 7 jersey holder, scored a maximum of 06 goals for the champion team.

Men’s section

Men’s section held at 11.30 pm Border Guard Bangladesh 32-14 in the final match Goal Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Defeats the army and becomes the champion of the competition. The winning team They were leading 24-09 in the first half. Taju wearing the No. 2 jersey for the champion team Islam scored maximum 10 goals.

Best Player

*** In the women’s section, Alpana, who wore the 10th jersey of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force, was selected as the best player of the competition.

 

*** In the men’s category, Border Guard Bangladesh’s No. 2 jersey holder Taju Islam was selected as the best player of the competition.
